Heya,
Just wanted to add some words about myself... I have been digging into libopenmv quite a lot recently. Moreover, I started a GPL'ed open source project to create a framework for creating SL bots.
In a nutshell, it is based on the testclient, but with several additions and modifications to make it a bit easier. We are about to populate the SVN repository these days, so that you get a better idea :-)
